This month took B&T Garage/BTG Media out Terrell, TX for the monthly NTFC meet. Crown Custom Hot Rods was gracious enough to allow us to tour their shop and utilize their parking lot.
The meet started out with a meeting location at the Summit warehouse in Arlington, TX. We gathered there and cruised as a small group out to Terrell for the meet. I was able to capture a couple roller shots on the way.
Once we arrived at Crown Custom Hot Rods we gathered as usual and had a great time. It’s hard to beat like-minded people, a great shop location, beverages, pizzas and of course awesome Mustangs!
The gathering lasted about 3 hours and then we all headed on our separate ways. We, of course, had to take some roller shots on our way home!
If you’re in North Texas and own a Foxbody Mustang, you should really look us up! We’d love to have you join and be a part of the best Foxbody club in Texas!
Took Nate Dog with me to the 2018 Late Model Restoration Cruise. We tagged along with the North Texas Foxbody Club crew and drove down to Ennis Texas to the Texas Motor Plex. The event had drag racing, car show, dyno station, and a burnout contest. I spent the day shooting video, photos, and BS’ing with the guys and gals from NTFC and other clubs. It got pretty hot so Nat and I cut out of there before the raffle and burnout contest started. There’s a vlog video of the event below, I hope you enjoy it, we did!
Muscle Mustangs DFW had a small meet at the Arlington Burger Box. It was a fun night and I got to see a bunch of new faces. It’s always good to see all sorts of cars and hear about everyone’s like minded passion, their cars.
In this video we follow a member throughout the night in an interesting perspective of the night. Enjoy.
The last couple of months have been pretty challenging. A bathroom remodel that’s been going on for way to long, the awesome Project 64.5, a massive job role change at work and a new role within the North Texas Foxbody Club.
Like most members of the group, I post numerous photos of my own Fox as well as meet photos. There are many fantastic photographers within the club. So, I was honored when I was asked to be the official videographer/photographer for the North Texas Foxbody Club! What a great to opportunity to highlight the club and members while shooting photos of what we all enjoy, automobiles, Mustangs, and most importantly Foxbodies!
You may have noticed a decline in the number of videos by B&T Garage. I’ve not been able to produce as many videos as I used to for various reasons. Money, time, projects and honestly, adoption rate. This video describes what I’ve got going on. I will continue creating content as I can, and hopefully at some point generate an audience! All joking aside, I’m looking forward to 2018 being fantastic for B&T Garage.
After 12 months of the semi-flat metallic red, it was time to remove the dipyourcar.com Plastidip. The product is great and help up superbly, but needed to come off. I had a couple spots where I applied it incorrectly, runs, and a spot by the mirrors where is appeared some one peeled it. Possibly while at TMI or a parking lot some where?
Removing the dip wasn’t very hard but was time consuming. I need to determine what to do next, paint or more time. I have some time to fix some door dings and other dents before I do that.
It’s been pretty quiet around B&T Garage lately and that’s going to be changing real soon. Recently I’ve been taking it easy filming and focusing on the 64 1/2 project for Elyse. Look forward to more Project 64 1/2 videos soon
The Texas Mustang Invasion event is also coming up. That’s a great gathering of Mustang enthusiasts from all over the DFW area and beyond. There will be Mustangs from all eras and many great vendors. I’ll be out there with Molly and camera gear. Look for a video of the TMI event as well.
Once I come home from the TMI even Molly is going to be parked for what will be the next series of Foxy Molly Build videos. The new season will focus on the PlastiDip coming off, bodywork being done to repair rust in the rear fender, and the engine being rebuilt. The engine will be assessed and rebuilt as needed with go fast parts over the next several months, think ON3. Molly will also be getting a new clutch to help put that newly found horsepower to the wheels. There will be other goodies in the series that I’ll keep secret for now.
